THRIVE Nights
Acts 2:42 says “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and prayer”. After the day of Pentecost when Holy Spirit filled the 120 who were gathered together, about 3000 people were added to them and this became the early church. Acts 2:42 describes how they then engaged each other and postured themselves to grow together. This is exactly what THRIVE Nights are about.
Learning the Word of God - At the center of THRIVE Night is the teaching of God’s Word. We sit together in an intimate space and dig into the Word of God to understand what it says about God, what it says about us in relationship to God, and how we apply it to our daily lives. This is a setting where dialogue and questions are encouraged. We want you to leave with knowledge so we encourage you to get an understanding and take notes.
Community & Fellowship - Another significant part of THRIVE Night is the community and fellowship that is encouraged. This is an opportunity for those in attendance to build relationships with like-minded people. We need to have a network of people we can lean on outside of the times that we gather, and this is the setting to add to that network.
Breaking Bread - When the scriptures were written, having a meal with someone signified deep friendship, intimacy, and unity. We will always break bread with each other to signify unity amongst us.
